Semeando Capoeira Angola is an international event that takes place every two years in different cities of Bahia, Brazil. The idea is to value, rescue, learn and further strengthen our knowledge of Capoeira Angola together with older capoeiristas and pass it on to the younger ones, in order to keep this cultural art alive.

Between December 27, 2020 and January 10, 2021, we will hold the 10th Semeando Capoeira Angola in Salvador and Itaparica Island, in Cacha Pregos – Bahia. The event will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Semente do Jogo de Angola Group and also the release of Mestre Jogo de Dentro’s second book ‘Capoeira Angola e Ancestralidade’.

Great contributors of Capoeira Angola and friends will be present at the event to celebrate together 30 years of victories. We will also have the presence and participation of students and leads of each chapter of the Semente do Jogo de Angola Group. Bahia, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Recife, Florianópolis, Canada, Israel, Italy, Japan, Colombia, New Zealand, Costa Rica and France… All are welcome!

The event will be held in Salvador – Bahia, from December 27 to 30, 2020 and in Cacha Pregos Island – Bahia, where the Group’s headquarter is located, from January 31 to 10, 2021. At Espaço Semente Capoeira Angola there will be several activities: capoeira, samba, afoxé and afro dance.

The event will be open to anyone interested in learning a little more about Capoeira Angola and our culture.
